Today we met Yvonne and John O'Brien at Amstell Golf Course, over Cranbourne way.

Yvonne is Mrs Turner's daughter and I knew them when I was growing in up Dandenong. Yvonne used to play netball in the same club as me, although she is more Chris's age than mine.

It was nice to see them again, but the course was a bit of a goat track and some of the fairways made playing off a descent bit of grass very difficult. Anyway can't blame bad golf on the conditions.

Scores for today: Chris - playing off a handicap of 27, had 53 on the front 9 and 51 on the back a total of 104, with 15 and 17 for 32 stableford points.

I played off 26 handicap and had 55 on the front and 52 on the back for a total of 107 with 16 and 14 for 30 stableford points.
