Tuesday 3rd July 2012 Berri
I started the day with a 5km run, unfortunately we are right on the main road to and from Berri, so quite a bit of speeding traffic which doesn't go hand in hand with a peaceful run. Anyway I did enjoy running after a break as we drove across the Nullabor.
The weather was great, a bit cool for my run but then warmed up very nicely. We headed out to Big River Country Club at about 10:30 and got on straight away, only saw 2 other people there.
We had a really good time on the course, both of us enjoyed the day and played some reasonable golf, with a few dud shots. Neither of us putted all that well, perhaps we are still abit tired from the driving.
Scores for the 18:
Lynne - 1st 9 = 54, back 9 = 51, total = 105 less my adjusted handicap of 27 gives me 78.
Chris - 1st 9 = 54, back 9 = 54, total = 108 less Chris's adjusted handcap of 34 gives Chris a 74.
We drove into Berri after the game and Chris had a haircut and we had a coffee/tea before coming home.
