Wednesday 16th May 2012 Cobram-Barooga Golf Course
Today we played 18 holes at Cobram Barooga "old" Golf Course, the course is 36 holes, comprising of the west course and the old course.
Before the golf we had to take our new pajero to the Misuibishi dealer at Cobram for it's 1500km service. We were very fortunate as the manager agreed to getting one of the boys to drops us at the golf course and pick us up when we had finished playing.
What a sight and topic of conversation it must have been to see us unloading our golf gear in the carpark as the guy waited to drive the car back to the workshop.
We checked in at the pro shop & got ourselves on to the tee and off we went for a very nice day of golf, well the weather was very, can't say the same for my golf, Chris's golf was impressive, I'll have to improve to keep up.
Scores for today were:
Chris front 9 = 57, back 9 = 51 for a total of 108, less his 24 handicap = 84, with 26 stableford points.
For me front 9 = 59, back 9 = 63 for a total of 122 less my 27 handicap = 94, with 23 stableford points.
We finished about 2:30 and had a bite to eat in the club, then Chris rang the car dealership and while we waited for the car to arrive we dismantled the golf equipment ready to pack back into the car.
On the way back to our accomodation at Sun Country Park we managed to get a little lost and had a nice country drive about 30kms longer than necessary but still good to see the countryside.
We were both really tired (I had a short run in the morning so was feeling a bit weary).
