After to saying our good byes to Sue, David, Missy and Oscar we headed off for Esperance. It was 8:25 as we pulled out the driveway for the 750km drive.
We stayed at Sue & David's long than planned due to unfortunate circumstances when Sue & David flew to Melbourne for a funeral of a close friend. We stayed on to keep the doggies company and make sure they did't get into too much trouble, as well as feeding them,walking, playing etc.
Although a long drive we made good time with very litle traffic and apart from the big mines at Collie - just huge, there was very little to see.
We arrived in Esperance just after 5pm and found our accomodation at "The Do Drop Inn". We have been to Esperance 2 other times so know our way around a little.
We are staying in the Dutch Barn and that is what it looks like, very cosy, very warm and we are quite happy here.
We headed into town, forgetting it was Sunday and the supermarkets were closed after 5pm, so ended up getting take away chinese for dinner.
