Thursday 28th March,This morning we had a 6am wake up and on the road by 6:30 heading to Cradle Mountain.
It was a very misty cold (8 degrees) day with rain expected on the Mountain and that is what happened. We had brekky at then lodge then put our wet weather gear, boarded the shuttle bus to Dove Lake and did the walk around.
The rain cleared every so often, sun would come and then it would pour again, however it is a lovely walk so we just walked through it all. We did the loop and then walked to Ronnie Creek and got a shuttle back to the lodge for a hot drink before heading off to Ulverstone.
Maybe one day we will come back and do the Overland Track to Lake St Clair.
The drive to Ulverstone was very interesting and scenic and Ulverstone looks like a nice town.
