I went for a run around Lake Forbes this morning, about 6km from caravan and back. There wa a lot of frost & ice on the grass and it was pretty cold running, but looked like being a sunny day once the sun had risen a bit more.

As we drove out of the park it was only 6 degrees but did warm up a couple of degrees oo the drive to Parkes.

The were a few ladies finishing their round when we arrived and I thought how cold it must have been when they started. I'm glad we were hitting off after 10 when the morning had warmed up a little.

Once again we didn't play very well, just couldn't seem to get into form. I wasn't too bad on the front 9 with a 52 but still didn't seem to be hitting the ball cleanly.

Chris decided he wasn't going to score today, and ended up using his 5 iron to try and get himself back in form.

My back 9 went downhill with a 58. The best hole came at the end for me when I hit a big 3 wood to the back edge of the green, unfortunately my 2nd putt went in the hole and popped out so I ended up with a 5. Scores for the 18:

Lynne - 1st 9 = 52, back 9 = 58, total = 110, less adjusted handicap of 26 for an 84.
