Tuesday 22nd May 2012 Rich River Echuca

We headed off to Rich River this morning, just 8 kilometres from our cabin in Moama. Another beautiful day and the golf course looked terrific.

We started off on the West Course today, leaving the East Course for tomorrow.

No pars or birdies for either of us today, Chris had 5 bogeys and I had 4 bogeys, so I guess we are improving slowly.

Chris is still struggling to get his drives on the fairway, but after his drive his shots to the green and putting are very good.

My drives are going well, my 4 wood shots are improving so I'm gaining in confidence with this club. My chipping still needs some work. Scores for today were:

Chris front 9 = 55, and for the back 9 a 58 for a total of 113, less his 34 handicap = 79, with 32 stableford points.

For me front 9 = 52, back 9 = 55 for a total of 107 less my 37 handicap = 67, with 39 stableford points.

My handicap has gone down to 36, Chris remains on 34.
