After the rain and thunder last night we were very surprised to wake up and see blue sky and sunshine.

We were a bit later heading out but thought this would allow any comp players to get ahead of us. Good thinking and we were told we could hit off the 10th without any problems.....until we discovered we had left the batteries for the buggy's back in the cabin. So back we drove to pick them up. By the time we got back the ladies field were up to the 10th so we started on the 1st.

We really enjoyed the course although a little wet from the rain over night, but the day was lovely, perfect golf weather with the Murray beside us and kangaroos and kookaburras to watch us.

Scores for the 18:

Lynne - 1st 9 = 48, 2nd 9 = 48, total = 96 less my adjusted handicap of 27 gives me 69.

Chris - 1st 9 = 53, 2nd 9 = 48, total = 101 less Chris's adjusted handcap of 34 gives Chris a 67.

We finished and had a chat with the course manager and his offsider, Donny, nice guys with some interesting conversation. A very relaxed atmosphere, I went into the kitchen to make myself a cup of tea and Chris had a lemon squash and we sat outside overlooking the course, just beautiful.
