I am not too good, yesterday I went for a run along the beach, came home had brekky, hung washing out and felt terrific. We headed off to Rosebud Park Golf Course and I could feel my back tightening as we drove along. By the time we got there it was really tight so I put on my brace but knew it was cactus.

There was another couple waiting to tee off so we joined together as a group, they were only playing 9 holes and it was nice to have some company and play a few holes with them.

I played the 18 holes in a lot of discomfort, walking is fine but just bending my knees hurts and I knew that sitting was out of the question. On the tee another couple playing at the same time asked if we would play as a group so we did. They were lovely, Dave & Kathy. They only played 9 holes so we were on own for the back 9. We really liked the course.

Strangely although I didn't hit as well as usual my score was about the same, Chris wasn't very happy with his golf though.

The drive home was very uncomfortable as I have to lay the seat back to get any comfort. Once home it was difficult to get out the car, then I put some ice on straight away and took some anti inflams.

Scores for today: Chris - playing off 27 handicap had 56 on the front 9 and 50 on the back a total of 106, with 11 and 16 for 27 stableford points.

I played off 26 handicap and had 53 on the front and 50 on the back for a total of 103 with 14 and 16 for 30 stableford points.

Just after we left the course Chris realised that he didn't have his wedding ring on. He never takes it off. We checked in his golf glove, then drove back to the course, by this time he had thought things through and decided that when he went to the toilets and washed his hands that he had taken the ring off as it was slipping off his finger. So he thinks he left it on the wash basins and of course it was gone.

He talked to the Pro at the golf shop but no-one had handed anything in, so he left his name and details and we had a very subdued trip back to Balnarring. Unfortuantely the toilet block was not actually a part of the golf course but in a park and there were quite a few people coming and going during the 4+ hours we were out playing.

So in all a very expensive day.

This morning we had the alarm set for 6 to go into town but I said to Chris that I just couldn't sit in the car for over an hour each way, so he has gone off on his own. He made it ok, and should be just about to go into the committal.

I'm keeping up the ice and pills, very awkward when I can't sit down. I'll probably try an easy walk later and that will be it for my day.
