27th January 2013, Thurgoona
We had booked a few days at Thurgoona with a voucher for the golf course on the way back from Melbourne to Uncle Mike's and for Chris to travel on to Sydney for a medical appointment.
It was beautiful (hot) weather and the course looked in very good condition. Our accomodation was also good, right next door to the golf course.
We put our names down in the comp on the 27th, needless to say neither of us won on the day, our scores were:
Chris: 103 strokes with 32 points, playing off 27 handicap.
Lynne: 107 strokes with 29 points, playing off 26 handicap.
Then we had 2 more days of golf, Our scores over the 2 days were:
Chris, 109 strokes on the first day, with 28 points and I had 95 strokes with 41 points. Chris played off 27 and I played off 26.
The second day, Chris had 102 strokes with 33 points and I had 103 strokes with 36 points.
